ArenaRed has the goal to bring a dual-fuel motor management system on the market with the focus on:

• low fuel consumption
• Low emissions (NOx, SOx, CO2 and CH4)
• Retrofit system with “simple” installation

In collaboration with ArenaRed Core|Vision has developed the ECU, the heart of this motor management system. The ECU is a Xilinx Zynq based embedded system with a real-time operating system (Linux + Xenomai extension).

The big advantage of this motor management system is its capability to control the engine optimally by processing sophisticated algorithms in FPGA using data obtained from pressure sensors which are located in the combustion chambers of the engine.

The motor management system may only be used when there is a Lloyds Register type approval. For this process Core|Vision has taken technical and quality substantiation into account.
