Modern designs may contain hundreds of thousands of clock domain crossing (CDC) paths, many of which may see minimal use, simply managing constant values across different clock domains. Correctly handling these ‘quasi-static’ CDC paths can reduce area, power consumption, and overall design complexity. In this webinar, we will examine the characteristics of quasi-static CDC paths and introduce a specialized methodology for efficiently managing them.
