From request to clear direction
In the initial discussions we examine together whether there is a substantive and practical match. What is the purpose of the product? What are the requirements?
We carry out a market and feasibility study, map out functional and non-functional requirements, and identify relevant standards and laws and regulations. On this basis, we draw up a clear quotation. This is how we create overview and mutual trust right from the start.
ContactContactThe right decisions at the drawing board
Once the project starts, we draw up a realistic schedule and kick off with a joint kick-off. In this phase, we work out the design, hardware, software and the FPGA architecture.
We also select suitable components, such as microcontrollers, FPGAs and required interfaces (e.g. CAN or IoT connectivity). Safety, quality and security are part of the design from the very beginning. We build a system model and run simulations to identify risks early.
Building a working prototype
With a good design as a basis, we move on to implementation. We design, produce and validate PCBs. We also develop the FPGA firmware and software. Thanks to refinement and review moments, we keep a grip on progress and quality. Everything happens in sprints, where progress is regularly monitored. Ultimately, hardware, software and FPGA firmware are assembled into a working prototype.
Does it work as intended?
In this phase, everything is extensively tested. We analyze real-time behavior, perform safety and compliance tests (such as EMI/EMC and temperature tests), and use advanced tools such as oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers for debugging.
Many tests have been started before, but now we bring all the components together to make sure the product does what it is supposed to do. From start to finish, everything is carefully documented and everything we do is traceable.
Ready for delivery and use
Finally, in this phase, we do all final testing and quality control so that each delivery meets the agreed upon requirements. If the customer does not have their own production capabilities, we can provide and optimize hardware production. Firmware and hardware, if necessary, is prepared for Over The Air (OTA) updates so that future changes or improvements can also be made quickly and securely.
During these five steps, Core-Vision takes care of your entire project!
