Abstract:

 Designs with multiple clock domains require special synchronization circuits to safely transfer data between modules operating on different clocks. Without proper handling, signals crossing these domains can lead to metastability in flip-flops, potentially compromising the reliability of the system. In this webinar, we will review the fundamentals of metastability and explore how two-flop synchronizers work to address this challenge.
