What will you be doing?

As a Design Engineer (FPGA), you will be the driving force behind the development of advanced systems. You will be involved in every aspect, from the design of FPGA solutions to the implementation. This versatile role includes not only designing, testing, and debugging FPGA implementations, but also defining architecture and optimizing performance. Together with our dedicated team, you will work on challenging projects that push the boundaries of technological innovation using the SCRUM methodology. Your days will be 
filled with:

• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into executable, optimized, and efficient FPGA designs, while contributing to defining the FPGA architecture
• Designing, testing, and debugging FPGA configurations and prototypes using languages such as VHDL and Verilog
• Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and compliance with coding standards



• Developing and executing test plans to verify functionality and resolve any issues
• Continuously improving system efficiency, performance, and power consumption
• Working closely with hardware, software, firmware, and QA teams to ensure successful integration
• Keeping up with the latest FPGA technologies and best practices

What do we expect from you?

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a high-tech production environment
• A completed bachelor's or master's degree (Embedded Software/Electrical Engineering or similar)
• Knowledge of, or experience with Hardware Description Languages (HDL), FPGA development with a focus on VHDL, Verilog, Python, Makefiles, and TCL
• Knowledge of, or experience with tools like GIT, Jenkins, Docker, cocotb
• Passion for challenges where you can unleash your creativity
• A solution-oriented approach
• Lastly, you speak and write fluent Dutch and English
